Here is an after and before pic. I have to go down to Phoenix next week to pick it up.
Part of why it took so long to fix was that one of the previous batteries in the car, before I owned it, corroded the frame rail on the drivers side causing significant damage that was only made worse by the accident.
The minor upgrades are cooling related, N1 water pump and upgraded radiator. Can’t wait to get it back.
As a side note I was going to do autocross with it again as soon as I got it back only to find out that the classes I was told it was in last year it is not. It is in an absolutely ridiculous class likely so building it for that would be pointless. I may need to change cars for that which is why I made a post about GTIs earlier.

Just AutoX it anyways. You don't have to be top-tier to have fun.

I may end up doing that. I was running it “for fun” but i don’t want to piss people off if i’m constantly in the wrong class lol.

I found the parts actually.
I basically bought a whole front cut but without the engine/trans and shipped it to them. I got it off of ebay for $600. It’s a series 2 front end but it all bolted/welded on.

looks awfully similar to before, whats the difference between the series 2 and what you started with?

GTST? or GTS25T? Looks good with those wheels, surprisingly good in fact.

It’s a real RB26 (no shit) overnight from Japan Skyline, no one is going to be upset.

Many local SCCA regions have a “for fun” class. Mine in particular named theirs “Cookie Class”, which is a no-handicap/raw-time-only class for racers who don’t want to deal with classing or PAX. The only rule is that the winner must provide cookies for everyone at the next event. To be honest, a JDM import like your R32 would immediately go into XP (x-prepared) because of rules disallowing non-USDM from competing in stock and street-prepared classes.

lol people were impressed I was autocrossing it. This was one of the first ones in the US and I brought it out the first weekend I owned it and people were like “wtf?!?”. It was kind of funny.

The front bumper has that lower grill and this had fog lights on it as well but they don’t fit with the inter-cooler. I hear the headlights are different but other than that they are the same. The differences aren’t as big as with other cars that had a refresh.

25T is R33, this is a RB20.
Those are wheels from a 350Z I owned about 10 years ago. I kept them on the car because they don’t look bad but were meant to be temporary. You can see some of it but they are like 13 year old wheels and they look it in person lol.

OP stated RB20 Earlier. I don’t thnk any of the rear drive Skylines had the RB26, just the RB20 and then later the RB25.

Nope. Just wanted to spread the knowledge and see if you knew something I didn’t. Because if you did, i’d like to learn. I’m here to learn about cars after all.

My initial reply was a butchered quote from Fast and Furious. I was intentionally being facetious and did not imply that I was saying anything factual.
Also, being a pedantic ass isn't cool.

Yup. Missed the FnF reference there. I was 90 percent sure oppo was the one place where discussing the nuances of RB engines wasn’t considered pedantry, but whatever.
